The Environmental Performance Accountability Report is the product of collective efforts to uplift and communicate our commitment to Planetary Health from dozens of contributors across Providence Health Care (PHC).
PHC is celebrating its 11th year of progress and action toward low-carbon, climate resilient and environmentally sustainable care.
The report highlights achievements including:
- St. Vincent’s: Brock Fahrni being recognized by the International Federation of Health Care Engineering for achieving the largest energy reduction in Canada
- Environmental Stewardship team forming with cross-departmental participation to support Providence in becoming a sustainability leader and reducing the environmental impact of health-care operations on the environment
