  • Energy Efficiency Projects: The heat recovery project at Brock Fahrni is one of the most successful projects, rendering the site a near zero emission building.
  • Major Retrofit Project: Secured nearly $1 million in funding from the Carbon Neutral Capital Program (CNCP) to support a major retrofit to the internal boiler at St. Paul’s Hospital, potentially reducing emissions by a further 1,500 tonnes of CO2 annually.
  • Transit Friendly Employer Certification: In November 2023, Providence Health Care (PHC) was awarded the Transit Friendly Employer certification by TransLink. This program recognizes leading organizations for making employee travel easy, affordable, and climate-friendly.
