- Emission Reductions: Achieved a 6% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from 2022, totaling 40,452 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent.
- Transit Incentive Program (TIP): In April 2023, Fraser Health increased the subsidy for the Transit Incentive Program to 50%, leading to a significant rise in participation, with an average of 1,035 staff subscriptions in 2023—a 185% increase from 2022.
- Heat-Related Illness Tracking: Fraser Health’s Population and Public Health teams established heat-related illness tracking and initiated plans for a climate change and health data dashboard.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Continued efforts to reduce waste, promote sustainability practices, and build a climate-resilient health system.
