The Environmental Performance Accountability Report is the product of collective efforts to uplift and communicate our commitment to Planetary Health from dozens of contributors across Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA).
PHSA is celebrating its 11th year of progress and action toward low-carbon, climate resilient and environmentally sustainable care.
The report highlights achievements including:
- Receiving Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, Gold level, for the Red Fish Healing Centre for Mental Health and Addiction
- Reducing PHSA’s emissions footprint by 20% since 2007, which is the equivalent of removing 1,471 passenger vehicles from the road
- 8 stories about staff, medical staff and teams taking action for impact
