Harvest of Cultures: A Plant-Rich Celebration on World Food Day

Back for its second year, the Providence Health Care Environmental Stewardship Team Food Working Group will be hosting a celebration of global flavours and an information booth about plant-rich foods from different cultures.

 

Join us to:

  • Learn more about diets from around the world that nourish people, places and the planet
  • Share what your favourite plant-rich food is and where it is from, through our recipe contest!
  • Get inspired with new recipes and meal ideas from our digital cook book
  • Learn about what ‘best before’ and ‘expiration’ dates mean on food products, and how they can help us avoid food waste

When: Wednesday, October 16th, between 10:00 – 2:00 PM

Where: St Paul’s Hospital, Providence Building, 4th Floor Cafeteria Hallway
