The impacts of climate change are all around us – and people in B.C. know that delay is not an option. There’s more to do, and this is what the CleanBC Roadmap to 2030 is all about.
The CleanBC Roadmap to 2030 is the B.C. Government’s plan to achieve 100% of its emissions target while building a cleaner economy that benefits everyone. The roadmap is an update to their Clean BC plan, to reach the province’s 2030 climate target. It includes a range of accelerated and expanded actions across eight pathways:
- Low Carbon Energy
- Transportation
- Buildings
- Communities
- Industry, including Oil and Gas
- Forest
- Bioeconomy
- Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries
- Negative Emissions Technologies
The Roadmap is designed to strengthen action in areas already showing positive results, as well as those at the earlier stages of transition.
