PHSA Energy Specialist

With a diverse educational background encompassing a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering-Systems Optimization from the University of Tehran and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UBC, coupled with a strong foundation in Optimization and Data Analytics, Pooya bring a unique blend of skills to the field of energy management. He has gained practical experience as a Sustainability Scholar with the Energy and Environmental Sustainability (EES) Team, where he contributed to initiatives focused on energy efficiency and carbon reduction projects.

In his current role as an Energy Specialist at PHSA, he provides technical leadership and support in managing and analyzing energy data. He also supports quarterly and annual energy and carbon reporting processes and deliverables. Collaborating closely with partners, including facilities management personnel and utility providers, he plays a key role in implementing energy conservation measures and advancing sustainability objectives within PHSA.
