Adam comes to PHSA energy management from 12 years in his previous role of Facilities, Maintenance, and Operations Manager for Sechelt Hospital and Sunshine Coast sites where he was able to leverage his studies, trades knowledge, and experience. Under Adam’s guidance Sechelt Hospital won several awards for efficiency and innovation in mechanical operations.
Adam derives great pleasure from finding win/win situations where efficiency of operation meets increased comfort and performance. A holistic approach to energy management which respects the needs of PHSA’s outstanding clinical teams, patients, and residents, with support from outstanding maintenance and operations teams leveraging industry leading systems which are adaptable, scalable, and resilient, fulfills his dream for the built environment of health care in British Columbia. He has the vision, passion, and the tenacity to continue moving us towards a sustainable future where our children, grandchildren, and all interconnected living systems on Earth can thrive.
