Join the Farm to Hospital Food Fairs:

• At Chilliwack Hospital on August 19, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m

Throughout July and August, hospitals and long-term care sites across Fraser Health have been featuring locally grown BC corn and blueberries on patient and resident meal trays, bringing the taste of summer directly to those we serve.

The Farm to Hospital Food Fairs share complimentary samples of fresh local corn and blueberries with staff and visitors, while showcasing Fraser Health’s vision for growing the Farm to Hospital initiative across the organization.

These events celebrate more than great local food. They’re an opportunity to connect with staff and communities, highlight the value of supporting local farmers and food producers, and share how stronger local food procurement can contribute to a more resilient and sustainable food system.
