Shuttle

 

The Lower Mainland Health Care Organizations provide smooth and stress-free shuttle services to facilitate safe, fast, practical and environment-friendly transport of all lower mainland health care organizations staff, physicians, medical students, registered contractors and volunteers to and from select sites, free of charge.  
 
Employees are requested to show their hospital ID when boarding the shuttle for accurate staff ridership count. 

Inter-Hospital Shuttle Service for Vancouver sites

Services the following facilities (courier service available to staff, free of charge):

  • St. Paul's Hospital – Comox Street Entrance
  • BC Cancer Agency - Vancouver Cancer Centre – Main Entrance on W 10th Ave
  • Vancouver General Hospital – Centennial Pavilion South Entrance on W 12th Avenue
  • GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre – South Parking Entrance
  • BC Children's and Women's Hospitals – Children's Hospital Level 1 North Entrance (across from CFRI and Chan Auditorium)
  • Youville Residence – Main Entrance
  • Mount Saint Joseph Hospital – Main Entrance
Ambulatory patients and their family members moving between these sites for services are welcome to use this service, free of charge, if space permits (must be able to present a note from a doctor or ward nurse when requested).

Children's and Women's Hospitals Staff Shuttle

Services the following locations:

  • New C&W Off-Site Staff Parking Lot – W 35th Ave. and Heather St
  • BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre Entrance 77 – Off of Heather St. Entrance
  • King Edward Canada Line Station (KECLS) – Northwest corner of Cambie and W 24th Avenue
  • BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre – Entrance 77

Central Surrey Health Shuttle

Services the following locations (courier service available to staff, free of charge):

  • King George SkyTrain Station -- East SkyTrain exit in the 15-minute pickup/drop-off zone
  • Jim Pattison Outpatient Care & Surgery Centre (JPOCSC) -- by the main entrance
  • Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) -- three stops to better serve the SMH campus 
  • SMH B Tower -- North entrance on 96 Ave
  • SMH D Tower -- South entrance on 94A Ave
  • SMH Central City Tower (CCT) -- Main entrance facing King George Highway<
  • Central City -- South side of 102 Ave, East of University Blvd.
