These tools will help you assess your department’s energy use, report on your current state and progress in your workplace, and identify opportunities for energy-saving actions.
After you conduct a visual assessment of the lights and equipment in your workplace, you will receive a score that helps you to gauge progress over time (e.g. before and after your energy campaign).
An optional feature is the energy-savings calculator that will tell you how much your department will save (in electricity and cost) each year by actively reducing energy use.
These tools will also help us to reduce Lower Mainland health authority electricity use and foster a workplace culture where everyone turns off lights, computer monitors and other electronic equipment when not in use.
