Join our upcoming webinar to hear about the lessons learned from this real-world implementation and from an environmental scan of practical interventions.\n\nThe webinar will be delivered in English\, with Zoom translated captions available in French. This project was made possible through a financial contribution from Health Canada.

DESCRIPTION:Date: November 17\, 2026 \nTime: 12:00 – 1:30 \nPlace: Online \nWorkshop description: \n\nThe increased use of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare has sparked intense debate. While AI has the potential to improve healthcare delivery\, limited governance and oversight introduce broader implications for both planetary health and the societies we live in. Balancing the potential benefits and risks of AI from a healthcare perspective can contribute to personal and professional tensions\, as well as moral distress.\nAttendees will be educated on the benefits and risks of AI from the perspectives of Equity\, Ethics\, and Spiritual Health. We will address concerns regarding privacy\, environmental implications\, and the impact on equity-denied populations\, among others.\nWe will also provide attendees with an interactive workshop to develop a personal guide for the use of AI in healthcare and beyond. A framework for the guide will be provided\, and workshop breakout rooms will be led by members of the PHSA’s Ethics\, Spiritual Health\, and Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion teams.\nThis is a single\, 90-minute event combining both education and workshop.\nThere will also be time for Q&A.\n\n  \nRegister on Teams for this 1.5 hour session.
